Kish

Known as the pearl of the Persian Gulf, it is of the most attractive coral islands in the world. Kish is a tourist resort located in the northeast of the Persian Gulf about 17 km from the southern offshore of mainland Iran.
The main attraction of the island is its stunning white sandy beaches. The water is crystal blue and it is possible to see the beautiful underwater world. This makes kish island one of the best places for snorkeling and scuba diving in the world. A variety of other water sports is also available, which among them jet-skiing, sailing, fishing, parasailing, reef walking, coral viewing, boating, and water-skiing are popular.
The island has a rich history dating back to the Achaemenid Empire when the islands became prosperous and the navigation in the Persian Gulf was expanded.
Kish is a free trade zone and foreign tourists require no visa for up to 14 days. There are numerous luxurious malls and shopping centers where it is possible to enjoy duty-free shopping. The weather is hot and humid in summer and very pleasant during the rest of the year.
